With Dragon*Con in the rear view mirror, we focus our attention to the fall TV schedule in both Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. We’ll talk Once Upon a Time, Grimm, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural,Fringe and the Walking Dead. We’re also going to review the first two episodes of series 7 of Doctor Who – Asylum of the Daleks and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. We receive the Transmission of our new blogger Merridith, our retro review will feature two Felicia Day web series – The Guild and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long-Blog. Also, Rita will give you a review of the classic sci-fi novel by Arthur C. Clarke,Rendevous with Rama.

JC and Rita wrap up their Dragon*Con coverage with Part Three of Episode 13. In this episode, they talk about their favorite costumes and their own cosplay plans for future cons. They let you in on what it was like to meet Jonathan Frakes of Star Trek the Next Generation and Joe Manganiello (Alcide) of True Blood. They give you the low down on the worst of Dragon*Con, how they watched the series premiere of Doctor Who Series 7 Asylum of the Daleks while at the Con and the scoop on Brit Track (plus some wedding advice for Brit Track Director Caro). They wrap up the Episode by telling you if they’ll be back in 2013.

Whenever you attend a major con with a number of people, there’s a significant chance you may develop a cold. After all, being in contact with so many other sniffling, wheezing and coughing sickos can leave you with a lasting effect. This is called Con Crud and both hosts of Transmissions From Atlantis have been infected. It’s okay though, we’re not turning into Zombies or going off the deep end. We’re troopers and we fight through said Crud to bring you Part Two of Episode 13 – our Dragon*Con review.
In this episode, we give you scoop on the host hotels, we go into detail about the Dragon*Con Parade and we share with you our experience meeting Sylvester McCoy, the 7th Doctor (and one of the stars of the new Lord of the Rings flick – the Hobbit). We’ll also tell you which Doctor Who panel was the best of Dragon*Con and take you inside one of the panels with John Barrowman and Kai Owen, stars of Torchwood.

In the first of a three part Episode 13, JC and Rita discuss what it was like to experience Dragon*Con, the differences between Dragon*Con during the day and at night as well as what the heck happened to our schedule. For our Doctor Who segment, we fill you in on our experience meeting Torchwood and Who superstar John Barrowman and we share with our very first in the real world celebrity moment with Mr. Barrowman.
