After 50 years, The Doctor finally had his day and what a day it was! After the record-breaking global broadcast, the ESW crew celebrated the 50th anniversary with an event co-hosted with TimeGate Convention, Doctor Who: The Forgotten Doctor and DragonCon British Media Track. Mike, Mike, Jen, and the Phantom Troublemaker had a blast sharing initial reactions to The Day of The Doctor special along with the award-winning author Bobby Nash, Beau Brown, Kirby Bartlett-Sloan, and the main man of the night, Alan Siler. It was an added bonus to hang out with many friends and fans throughout the evening. So much fun, it should be an annual holiday!
Here’s where the Earth Station One and Earth Station Who crews will be tomorrow.

The Earth Station One crew attended two very cool conventions over the Memorial Day weekend. Mike Faber and Jennifer Hartshorn were guests at TimeGate along with fellow ESO Network personalities Dr. Scott (Doctor Geeks Laboratory), Jason and Rita (Transmissions from Atlantis), Debbie Vigue (The Thirteenth Hour), and Phantom Troublemaker (Earth Station Who). They found time to interview the amazing Moxie Magnus and there’s a rumor going around that they even met a Doctor! Meanwhile, Mike Gordon and the award-winning author Bobby Nash crossed state lines for the Alabama Phoenix Festival, where they met up with Joe Crowe (RevolutionSF podcast) and finally tied Van Allen Plexico (White Rocket podcast) to The Geek Seat!

This past weekend, the Earth Station One crew had a grand ol’ time at the TimeGate convention in Atlanta, GA! Mike, Mike, and ESW co-host Phantom Troublemaker were featured panelists on a variety of topics and even got the chance to sit down for a few minutes with Caitlin Blackwood (Amelia Pond on Doctor Who). We also visited with Friends of the Station new and old and we thank all those who helped make the weekend so enjoyable!
