Folks, JC and Rita go bonkers with reviews this week! They review Defiance, DaVinci’s Demons, not one but two Game of Thrones episodes, the trailer for Black Sails, the Spartacus series finale and Doctor Who Cold War.
In addition, they preview this week’s Doctor Who episode “Hide”, provide you the scoop on Disney’s plans for the Star Wars franchise and give you an in depth accounting of the legacy of the Fourth Doctor Tom Baker as part of their ongoing series – Legacy Who Redux.

It took forever but Episode 26 is finally up. If this is the first time you’ve listened to TFA – this one is a crackin’. We’re a riot as we goof our way through topics of conversation like JJ Abrams directing Star Wars, Possibly the mystery of Benedict Cumberbatch’s character in Star Trek Into Darkness being revealed by a prequel comic, Robotech, Spider Man, Battlestar Galactica, Walking Dead, Superman Lives – the Movie that never was and Hansel and Gretel.
For our first episode, The Ratchet RetroCast found themselves in Mos Eisley listening to a cantina band and trying to avoid the smell of some dead green thing. That’s right, it’s Star Wars! This week Strangeway, Q and CD talk about the Star Wars franchise, with occasional muffled additions from Ratchet. They are joined by Chris Lee, the founder of the Full Scale Falcon project, an R2D2 builder, one of the first members of the 501st and more! Afterwards, listen in for facts during “This Week in Geek History” and for the up-and-comings in the steampunk community during the “Steampunk Review”, and thanks for tuning in to our very first episode!

George Lucas has sold Lucasfilm Ltd. to the Walt Disney Company. Disney announced plans for new Star Wars movies to premiere beginning 2015.
As the two Presidential Candidates duke it out for the White House, Rita and JC decide to take a geek’s look at debating. The first great debate of 2012 is the ultimate debate in Geekdom – Star Wars vs. Star Trek!

For my final entry of Star Wars toys this week on Earth Station One I decided to cover a character that me and my son both really like.
