Happy Holidays everyone and welcome to a special addition of the ESO podcast. This week we talk about the newest Doctor Who Christmas Special ‘The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe’. But also to celebrate the holiday season we thought it would be fun to talk about our three favorite holiday stories.
Continuing in the haunting season we thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite dead and undead characters. Also we will be taking a visit to the Hellmouth and chat about the first season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. But wait that’s not all, we also will be talking to our friend Kevin Parker about Netherworld, one of the largest haunted houses in the south.
With Summer Coming to end and most of us recovering still from our stint at Dragon*Con we thought it would be a perfect time to review how we did with our Summer Movie predictions, and then talk about what new fall TV shows we are looking forward to this year. Then, we take a look at this week’s episode of Doctor Who, ‘The Girl Who Waited’. You would think that would be enough for one week episode but then we will be talking about the final episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day, did it live up to our expectations? We will have to see.
This week we return for another visit to the good ship Red Dwarf when we take a peek at season 5. Then, we have waited all summer for the return of Doctor Who, and the show returned with the episode “Let’s Kill Hitler”, was it the wait? You would think that would be enough for one week episode but the fine folks here at Earth Station one we will also be talking about the newest episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day.
On this this week we will be taking all things Green Lantern, from the history of the Emerald Warrior to our favorite GL Stories. Then we go in depth in our review of the new Green Lantern feature film staring Ryan Reynolds.
