Earth Station Who Episode 4: The War Games

The 50th story in the franchise is a marathon, not a sprint, to the finish of the Patrick Troughton era. Mike, Mike, and Dave enlist in The War Games with some assistance from “The Ten Doctors” cartoonist, Rich Morris. As we say goodbye to The Second Doctor, we say “Howdy!” to the Time Lords and some other important elements that would shape the DWU for years to come.

Millar on how close Kick-Ass 2 (and 3?!) will be to the comics

The sequel to the awesome poor man’s superhero flick Kick-Ass is finally gaining some momentum, and writer Mark Millar has opened up about what he has in store for part two, and beyond.

For fans of the comics, Millar told New Empress Magazine the plan for Kick-Ass 2 shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, as he prides himself on staying close to the comic canon.

Is There Really A New Mutants Movie In The Works? Will It Be Announced At Comic-Con?

Fox CEO Tom Rothman is, as you might expect, down in Las Vegas for Cinemacon where he has previewed a whole bunch of the studio’s upcoming films. He also took some time to do interviews, and possibly reveal the first hint of a New Mutants movie in the pipeline.

The New Mutants, on the off chance you don’t know who they are, get this basic blurb on Wikipedia:

The New Mutants are a group of teenaged mutant superheroes-in-training published by Marvel Comics. They have been the main characters of three successive comic book series, which were spin-offs of the popular X-Men franchise.
