Much of the plot of Christopher Nolan’s third and final Batman film, “The Dark Knight Rises,” still remains shrouded in mystery, and the recently released trailer teases more than it reveals.
Yet in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Nolan hints the film’s plot could tie in to the current U.S. economic crisis and issues raised by the “Occupy” movement.
Although Nolan tells the magazine he and his collaborators came up with the idea for the story and obtained New York filming permits months before the Occupy Wall Street movement gained momentum, viewers can expect to find some similarities. Continue reading
