Beauty And The Beast To Return To TV?

The CW network in the States is developing a reboot of the classic telefantasy series Beauty And The Beast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The original series, which ran for three series from 1987, starred Linda Hamilton as Catherine and Ron Perlman as Vincent, the sewer-dwelling beast. It was part police procedural part romance, and very popular. It was created by Ron Koslow and, trivia hounds, listed George RR Martin (Game Of Thrones) among its writers and producers.

Dino-filled UK sci-fi series Primeval gets a Canadian spin-off, eh?

Awesome news, everyone! While we’re impatiently waiting for season 5 of Primeval to air over here in North America, news of a spin-off of the UK sci-fi series has just emerged.

Titled Primeval: New World (Torchwood: Miracle Day was originally sub-titled The New World, BTW) will be a Canadian production from our friends over at SPACE, and it will be set in the same anomalies-filled universe we all know and love.
