The Star Trek and The Legion of Superheroes crossover…wait, what?

By CB Droege of TG Daily. The crew of the Enterprise are intercepted as they are beaming down to a planet.

When they arrive, they discover they have been sent to a completely different universe along with the Legion of Superheroes, who are also not from this mysterious universe.

In this place much is changed, most importantly the United Federation of Planets from the Star Trek universe (and the United Planets of the DC Universe)are here called the Imperial Planets of Terra, an oppressive galactic regime which seeks only to conquer and expand its own territory.

Hilarity ensues.

Man of Steel pushed to 2013 (Could The Hobbit be its kryptonite?)

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Super—oh, no it’s not! Superman’s big-screen return has been delayed. Warner Bros. just pushed back Zack Synder’s Man of Steel, which means we have to wait even longer to see Henry Cavill in that famous cape and tights.

The original release date for Man of Steel was set for December 2012, but now it’s been pushed to June 14, 2013. That’s an extra six months tacked on to an already tedious wait time. At first glance, this is a frustrating move on Warner Bros.’ part—but we think there’s a method to their madness. Continue reading
