New Harry Potter TV spot shows us some never-before-seen footage
For the first time since the original trailer was released, we finally have some new footage of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. It’s got more epic destruction, a Hagrid fight scene, and a first look at Harry, Ron and Hermione attempting to destroy Voldemort’s snake Nagini.
Source Says NBC Not Moving Forward With ‘Heroes’ Wrapup Movie
Don’t hold out for closure, Heroes fans: A key source on the canceled drama told EW that NBC is not moving forward with a movie that would wrap up the four-year series. After the Peacock announced the show’s cancellation last May, there was some talk about allowing creator Tim Kring to give fans one more chance to say goodbye to their favorite characters, but that’s as far as it went.

King’s Dark Tower being turned into massive TV/film series
This is one of those ideas that’s either going to be crazy successful or an epic failure. NBC Universal just made a deal to turn Stephen King’s The Dark Tower saga into three films and a TV series, a lot of which will be written by Akiva Goldsman and directed by Ron Howard.
Barrowman Not So Desperate?
How committed is John Barrowman to his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood? According to Digital Spy, he’s eager enough that he made sure his character Patrick Logan in Deperate Housewives was killed off so he could film Torchwood: The New World.
Barrowman revealed that the creators of Desperate Housewives had bigger plans for his character, plans that would have conflicted with him filming the fourth series of Torchwood. So like any dedicated actor would do, he put the character that put him on the map as an actor first.
