Sad news out of Cleavland this morning that comic book great Harvey Pekar has passed away at the age of 70. Harvey is best remembered for his series American Splendor (which I discovered my freshman year of college, and opened me to the world of non super-hero comics). God speed Harvey

Filming started today for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special, and it looks like the Doctor is going to be paying homage to Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol”. Should be fun to see how this pans out, and if some of the casting rumors come through (including Michael Gambon).
